Zippo proudly honours its founder, George G. Blaisdell, with the 2025 Founder’s Day collection. The stunning 540 Fusion design pays tribute to the creativity, artistry and innovation that inspired the first windproof lighter and continue to drive Zippo’s development today.
An Art Nouveau-inspired motif covers the entire lighter, with a Founder’s Day crest at the centre engraved with Mr Blaisdell’s birthday and the year Zippo was founded.

Below the crest is a lit windproof lighter, incorporating the Tumbled Brass finish and bringing the whole design together.
A total of 5000 lighters have been produced, each sequentially numbered and fitted with a gold-plated insert.
